The Business of Psychedelic Care: Early Signals from Regulated Markets
Niko Skievaski is co-founder and CEO of Althea, a platform supporting licensed psilocybin programs in Oregon and Colorado. He works with facilitators, centers, regulators, and researchers to understand how legal psychedelic care is evolving. Althea also owns Tricycle Day, a media platform helping educate the public and drive demand for regulated care.
This talk shares lessons from the first state-regulated psilocybin service markets in Oregon and Colorado. I’ll explore how these markets are evolving, why Oregon has stabilized while Colorado is rapidly expanding, what appears to be working for licensed centers, and the key question of whether demand can sustain the growing number of providers as psychedelic care moves beyond early hype.
