With the recent resurgence of interest and research into psychedelics and the influence of non-ordinary states of consciousness in mental wellness, we will explore the 8-Circuit Model of Consciousness, its applications in navigating the realm of the multidimensional facets of self, and how conscious brain and thought patterns can change through these altered states to improve one’s path to well-being and wholeness. The 8-Circuit Model offers a tool and framework for navigating and integrating these states of consciousness and personal development through the lenses of integral neuroscience and developmental and transpersonal psychology.
