Starr King School for the Ministry

The mission of Starr King School for the Ministry (an accredited seminary operating online) is to educate people for ministry and progressive religious leadership in society.  Starr King is rooted in values of countering oppressions, cultivating multi-religious life and learning, and creating just and sustainable communities.  Starr King’s new Psychedelic Chaplaincy Master of Divinity degree provides future spiritual leaders with the grounding to assist in the unfolding of a diverse and equitable psychedelic culture.  The focus on justice and companioning can lead graduates to positions in advocacy and/or entrepreneurship in this blossoming field.  Rooted in our Chaplaincy program, graduates will also be able to pursue careers in this complex field.
