Amy Koehlinger
Amy Koehlinger is Associate Professor in the School of History, Philosophy, and Religion at Oregon State University. Her central research explores embodiment and lived religious experience in the U.S. Dr. Koehlinger was one of the first licensed psilocybin facilitators in Oregon. She is a highly experienced facilitator, having held space for over 600 high dose psilocybin journeys.
The MEQ is the field’s standard measure of psychedelic spirituality, yet it is a limited lens that overlooks key insights from Religious Studies. This talk proposes an evidence-based alternative for modeling and measuring spiritual experience, integrating scholarly perspectives with real-world data from 1,400 high-dose psilocybin journeys in Oregon’s regulated program.
