Psychedelics can sweep you into disorienting states where the sense of a separate self dissolves. En route to this ego death, or afterwards, you may pass through a nihilistic period known as the Dark Night of the Soul. By exploring these states as features rather than bugs, you will learn not only how to heal from the Dark Night, but how to use it as a stepping stone toward transformative insight.
